The Cinematograph Act, 1952
1. Short title, extent and commencement. – (1) This Act may be called the Cinematograph Act, 1952. (Note:Ins. by Act No.25 of 1973) Provided that Parts I and II shall come into force in the State of Jammu and Kashmir only on such date after the commencement of the Cinematograph (Amendment) Act, 1973, as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
