1- IPO: Intellectual Property Department, Ministry of Economy and Commerce, Qatar
Dates: March 15-19
Scope: The mission comes within the framework of the cooperation agreement concluded between Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Qatar and WIPO in 2014 and following recommendation of the WIPO mission carried at the office in May of the same year. This mission aims to start the deployment of IPAS system at the office and conclude action steps and further preparation required to achieve full office automation using the system.
2- IPO: Ethiopian Intellectual Property Office (EIPO), Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Dates: March 23-27
Scope: conclude the digitization project funded by WIPO through Japan FIT, and in close coordination with EIPO, and ensure that all deliverables outlined by the project have been met. The mission will be also utilized to follow-up the status of the IPAS system at the office following the system deployment carried out last December and address outstanding challenges EIPO may face in its usage. |
