Further to a request from the Authorities of Mozambique (see letter attached), dated June 9, 2015, from Mr. José Joachim Meque, Director General,
Mozambique Industrial Property Institute (IPI), Ministry of Industry and Commerce, and the reply from the Director General, WIPO (see letter attached) proposing that a study visit be organized at the WIPO Headquarters for delegates from IPI.
The purpose of the visit is mainly to hold discussions on the new draft of the Industrial Property Code of Mozambique, on Patents, Trade Secrets and Utility Model, as well as procedures under the PCT.
In this context, a 3-day study visit is being organized by the Patent Law Division (see program attached), and it is proposed that the visit take place from September 29 to
October 1, 2015, at the WIPO Headquarters (see email attached).
