Moubadar>art is a joint initiative of WIPO and the National Office of Copyrights and Related Rights (ONDA).

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and the Arts and with the support of the Algerian Higher School of Business (ESAA), Moubadar>art aims to create a conducive environment for artistic development while respecting intellectual property rights. The objective is to support small and medium-sized enterprises as well as emerging startups in the Algerian creative industries, to formulate effective IP strategies aligned with their business plans and IP portfolio, ensuring a robust foundation for their commercial endeavors.

Moubadar>art will provide personalized support to a maximum of 20 selected SMEs/Startups nationwide. This support will include interactive workshops, group coaching sessions, and individual guidance provided by experts in business, new technologies, and intellectual property.

Motivated candidates looking to showcase their cultural heritage, stimulate their creativity, and strengthen their market positioning are encouraged to apply by filling out the application form available in two languages:

Potential participants include

  • Digital content creators, streaming service providers, and interactive media developers looking to innovate in how content is created, distributed, and consumed.
  • Graphic design and product design professionals, as well as innovators seeking innovative design solutions to meet market needs.
  • Entertainment industry players, such as event organizers, artists, and technology startups focused on the entertainment industry, seeking to revolutionize entertainment experiences.
  • Immersive technology pioneers exploring the possibilities offered by virtual reality, augmented reality, and other immersive technologies to create unique and engaging experiences.

Deadline and Schedule

  • Application Period: March 25 to April 30, 2024
  • Program duration: June to September 2024. A kickoff event will take place in May 2024.
