Download PCT-SAFE Software
- PCT-SAFE Client (used to create the PCT request form, and in electronic filing also to attach application documents, digitally sign, package and transmit to the receiving office)
- PCT-SAFE Editor (PSE) (used to prepare the application body (description, claims, abstract, drawings) in XML format)
Minimum system requirements to use PCT-SAFE Software
- Intel® Celeron 600 MHz processor or higher
- RAM 256 MB
- 1 GB of hard disk free space
- Floppy disk drive: 3 1/2 inch disk drive ( for PCT-EASY filing mode)
- CD-ROM drive (for CD installation)
- CD-ROM or DVD writer and software (for saving PCT electronic filings, prepared using PCT-SAFE, on physical media)
- Internet connection with speed of 56K or above ( for fully electronic filing on-line)
- Acrobat or the free Acrobat Reader, recommended version is 5.x (for viewing and printing of forms and documents)
Minimum software requirements for PCT-SAFE
The recommended platforms are Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP. Although Windows 98 can be used for preparing international applications in PCT-EASY mode, it is strongly recommended that one of the higher supported operating systems be used. (With Unicode support a pre-requisite for electronic filing, Windows 98 is not suitable for preparing international application data in the fully electronic filing mode).
