XML DTDs (Document Type Definition)

The web pages listed below contain public-release versions of the Annex F DTD's in a table format with graphical diagrams. You must have a browser capable of displaying PNG format graphics (such as MS Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator) in order to see the diagrams. Each DTD is also available as a separate file for download.

XML Component Library

The XML Component Library serves as a repository of XML components, including XML schemas and DTDs which define business rules for the electronic filing of patent applications, XSL Transformation stylesheets to display XML data in standard web browsers, XSL:FO stylesheets for creating paged media, and detailed documentation of XML schemas and DTDs. Developers and patent offices from around the world can utilize pre-defined schema fragments for creating DTDs and schemas.

The XML Component Library is currently accessible to parties cooperating on the Project.
