Fees

How to Pay the Fees Directly with the International Bureau of WIPO?

The amount of fees payable for an application for international registration, a subsequent designation and a renewal may be obtained from the Fees Calculator. For detailed information on fees, please refer to the Schedule of fees  and the list of Individual Fees [PDF]. The payment must be made in Swiss Francs.

When to Pay the Fees?

Making the payment on time and in Swiss Francs reduces the risk of irregularities and insures that your application is registered by the International Bureau quickly. The fees may be paid at the same time or just after you deposit your international application with your Office of origin or at the same time than you send other requests to the International Bureau.

Current Account Debit

If you perform many financial transactions with the International Bureau for the international registration of marks, industrial designs or PCT Patent filings, it is advisable to open a Current Account in Swiss Francs with the International Bureau. Conditions for opening, using and closing a current account at WIPO are available in PDF format.
