The Regulations and Rules are amended from time to time in order to adapt to changes in the provisions of the United Nations or other Specialized Agencies of the United Nations (i.e., the common system of the United Nations), and in particular to any adjustment of salaries and allowances within the common system as applied at the different duty stations.

The Salary Scales for the General Service, Professional and the Higher categories are not included as they reflect the scales decided and issued by the United Nations.
