The objectives of the Training Workshop are: (I) to build capacity of technical staff from IP offices in the installation, configuration and support of WIPO's IP Office solutions for IP administration and for online services; (ii) to introduce general WIPO tools and services available to support IP Offices for patent and trademark search, classification, etc; (iii) to learn from best practices in IP administration and online services at a relatively advanced IP office; (iv) to initiate projects and develop work plans with the individual offices for enhancement of IP administration and for deployment of online services; and (v) to establish a collaborative network of experts for mutual support. |
